Welcome to Vision Leadership Institute
Founded by Pastor Dr. Girma Desalegne in 2011, the Vision Leadership Institute became the school of thousands of gospel preachers and missionaries mainly in Ethiopia. The institute aims to nurture and educate future servants of the Lord and preachers of the gospel that will bring the light of Christ to a world dying within sin.

The first two campuses were in Debrezeit/Bishoftu and Shashmine

Through the years, VLI has begun different campuses in Nazreth/ Adama, Sheno, Zeway, Meki, Desse, Kemisse, Kombolcha, and Bekoji.

VLI has more than 2,000 graduates up to now.

Currently, VLI operates in Debrezeit/Bishoftu, Nazareth/Adama, Bekoji, Shashmine, Zeway, Kombolcha. VLI trains about 400 trainees.

VLI is unique from other training Institutions:
Do you have a basic understanding of the Bible and what you believe, but want to go deeper? Then Vision Leadership Institute is right for you. These College-level classes will teach you about the structure, content, and themes of the Old and New Testament, and introduce you to intermediate Bible study methods.
The classes on biblical theology discuss what we believe and why, and there is a focused class on how the Bible was written, how it was transmitted through the centuries, and why we can trust it. You will also learn about spiritual growth and how to avoid the pitfalls of moralism.
It reaches the underprivileged workers of the Gospel by providing two years of free training.
Its operation is based on the needs of each region, so it is a mobile institution.
Its focus is on life transformation and ministerial skills of the trainee.
VLI does not require leaving their current ministry to receive training, it binds knowledge and skill together to enhance ministerial performances

VLI in the next five Years
Vision Leadership Institute (VLI) prepares students for ministry inside and outside local church walls. They go on to work as pastors, Evangelists and Missionaries. The institute is known for its pursuit to reach underprivileged workers of the Gospel by providing two years of free training, altered based on the needs of each region.
In keeping with its distinctives, some key VLI initiatives include:
Adding five more campuses.
Providing a bachelor’s degree.
Providing conferences and workshops for community and church leaders.
Purchasing transportation vehicles to erase high cost and increase efficiency of mobility.
Purchase or lease a main campus office, library, training, and prayer site.
